The active use of high-field MRI tomographs allowed to improve the time resolution and significantly reduce the duration of MRI studies, which became extremely important for MRI imaging of the fetus, as well as various moving organs (heart, abdominal organs, etc.) of a person.

The purpose of this scientific review was to analyze and evaluate current relevant data concerning the safety of MRI during pregnancy, including the possibility of using contrasting drugs, the timing of MRI. Maximum safety for the patient during the application of any methods and techniques of radiation diagnostics is the main task for both developers of modern equipment and engineers of medical equipment, and for doctors of radiation diagnostics.
